Main Idea
Through faith in God and prayer, one can strengthen their inner being and live as a true Christian, independent of external circumstances.
Ephesians 3:14-21
12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. 13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
Prayer for Spiritual Strength
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family[c] in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Why is it important to be filled with the fullness of God’s love?
“C.S. Lewis wrote about receiving this kind of love. Not just hearing about it or understanding it but about allowing it to penetrate deep into your soul. He said most of us, when we hear about love, we let it cover us the way a coat of paint covers a wall. It changes the look. It’s undeniably obvious, but it’s also only on the surface. He said the ultimate goal is receiving the love of God like a dye or stain that soaks right through us, to the core of who we are. Think about that analogy. God wants his love to soak into us and change every fiber of our being. He wants it to get into our bones.

“C. S. Lewis escribió sobre recibir este tipo de amor. No solo escucharlo o comprenderlo, sino permitir que penetre profundamente en tu alma. Dijo que la mayoría de nosotros, cuando oímos hablar del amor, dejamos que nos cubra como una capa de pintura cubre una pared. Cambia el look. Es innegablemente obvio, pero también es solo en la superficie. Dijo que el objetivo final es recibir el amor de Dios como un tinte o una mancha que nos empapa hasta el centro de lo que somos. Piensa en esa analogía. Dios quiere que su amor penetre en nosotros y cambie cada fibra de nuestro ser. Quiere que se meta en nuestros huesos.
