Know God
You were created to have a personal relationship with God.
His death on the cross provided salvation for humanity from sin.
Realize that you are a sinner
We all fall short of becoming good people, no matter how hard we strive to live a good life. This is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one.” Without Jesus Christ, we would never be able to become who we are meant to be. Recognize that Jesus died on the cross for you
The Bible says, “God proved His tremendous love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This is the Good News, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us when we least deserved it. Repent of your Sins
The Bible says, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” The word repent means to feel remorse about one’s wrongdoing and change our direction in life. Instead of running away from God, we can run toward Him. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior
Becoming a Christian is more than simply believing some creed or going to church. It is allowing Christ to reside in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock, If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in…” If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray the following prayer and mean it in your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve fallen short. I’ve sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died, and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and personal Savior. I give you my past, present, and future. Take my life and use it. I give it to You. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
Congratulations
